Here is a series of beautiful photos taken by Eva Blue at the Turbo Haus concert of Wednesday, November 8, 2017 featuring Andrea Ramolo.
Andrea was performing in support of her critically acclaimed new album “Nuda”. She was joined onstage by Megan Lane on lead guitar and Sahra Featherstone on electric violin. Andrea opened with the haunting “You’re Everywhere” and finished with a solo encore of Leonard Cohen’s “Hey, That’s No Way To Say Goodbye”. In between, she sang most of the songs from the album, plus a Scarlett Jane song and a gorgeous cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams”. Two songs, including “Caruso” were sung entirely in Italian, much to the delight of Erica Santori, Sabrina DeCastris and a couple of others who hung onto every word. It was our pleasure to produce this warm, intimate night of music which also featured Montreal country songstress Bobby Dove with electric violinist Joel Zifkin. Bobby’s latest album is “Thunderchild”. Joel has recorded with The McGarrigle Sisters, Elvis Costello and Townes Van Zandt, among many others. Andrea and Bobby have been part of previous special Billy Bob Productions events. Andrea appeared at The Last Waltz 40th Anniversary Concert while Bobby helped pay tribute to Bob Dylan at our 70th birthday tribute at Petit Campus.
