This paragraph is mine. The rest, I had nothing to do with. Thanks again to everybody who helped put this special night together, especially the ringleader Lorne Rubin. As I write this I’m about to take my first ever month long vacation. In many ways, it’s been a difficult year. But the night of June 14 energized and helped propel me through most of the summer. The truth is – between nights out, dinners, concerts, comedy, the Jazz Fest and Just For Laughs – I haven’t stopped celebrating. But now it’s time to slow down. Many thanks again to family, friends, work mates, colleagues and listeners, for the warmth and love. May you all have as much fun celebrating your 60th birthday as I did. (Make that 70 for Aaron and 80 for Pat.) Now let’s go to the James Correa (with help from Kesh Dheer) videotape. Peace out – Mitch.
